If you missed the “Be the Light Bible Journaling Conference” yesterday make sure you don’t miss it today and tomorrow. It is an online conference completely free if you watch it within 24 hours of the live presentation or you can pay a small fee and get lifetime access and all kinds of other goodies.
Anyway, after yesterday’s conference, I was so inspired. I spent a lot of time praying and I am going to share later on about what God laid on my heart, but I want to share what I did last night after the conference.
I have really struggled with mental peace lately and I was studying scripture and Isaiah 9:6 came to my mind “prince of peace”. During the conference, one of the speakers reminded us about how the scripture says we should have scripture throughout the walls of our house and I thought instead of journaling in a travelers notebook or bible I would journal on a notecard and then I can put it somewhere in my house to remind me.
I grabbed a small white notecard. On one side I sketched a crown and then used my super crayons and aqua painter to make it look all watercolored. I used my heat gun and dried it really quickly. Then I used my Tombow calligraphy pen and wrote peace on it. On the other side, I wrote out Isaiah 9:6. I absolutely love how it turned out. Now I just have to decide where I am going to put it in my house.
