Promises from God ~ Bible Journaling Challenge

Merry Christmas!!  I hope you all are spending time celebrating with your family and remembering the real reason for the season.  I am looking forward to spending next year Bible journaling with you and I am excited to be sharing with you my next Bible journaling challenge today.

God gives us many promises and for January’s Bible journal challenge I want to focus on some of the promises from God.  In the back of my Promise Bible is scripture related to different promises from God.  I spent some time praying about it and selected the promises that God told me we needed to focus on in January.  I selected love, joy, peace, kindness, grace, hope and generosity.  I was short one verse for the challenge so I selected an additional verse related to love.

Verse-A-Day

If you are new to my challenge its really very simple.  Each day look up the verse for that day and spend some time reflecting on it.  When you read this verse what is God saying to you?  Once you have read it and spent some time reflecting on it spend a little more time and journal it in your Bible, notebook or just a piece of paper.

After you are doing Bible journaling it take a picture and share it with us in my group, Beginner Bible Journaling.  I will share a post each morning with my work for that verse, just comment on my post with the picture of your work.

If you share your Bible journaling work on Instagram use #ChristianCreativeChallenge so we can connect.  Just remember if your account is private I won’t be able to find you from the hashtag, but it will help you find others who are also participating in the challenge.

Finally make sure you print the image above so you can easily reference back to the list of verses for the challenge.
